Michael Korda, an English-born writer and novelist, once said, "one way to keep momentum going is to have constantly greater goals." At the beginning of every business quarter, the CWS team determines new goals and tactics that oftentimes seem wildly out of reach. While a few objectives just missed the mark (which is actually a good thing), CWS is slinging some substantial momentum from Q1 over into Q2.
Our quarterly alignment meetings are a time where all team members convene to discuss how the previous quarter played out. Members of leadership display and expound upon financial numbers, the state of sales, and marketing efforts. The first quarter of 2019 proved to be one of great productivity and achievement. Nonetheless, just as Korda advises, it's imperative for our team to make even greater goals for the upcoming weeks.
But first, there's no harm in looking back at a Q1 well done. One of the best ways to do that is to commend our teammates for their hard work and positive attitudes in the past 12 weeks.
Repeat offender, Joe Milbach, received the Highway 75 award for most billable hours. Joe also received an award for being part of CWS for an entire decade!
The MedEd Manager fellas earned the Team award for their outstanding work in Q1. This team consists of Justin McGinnis, Shane Kovash, Eric Reynolds, and Jonny Yucuis.
Finally, Patrick McNally received the coveted Employee of the Quarter award along with a prime spot in the parking lot.

Here's to a great Q1 and an even greater Q2!
