Launch: Barrier Free Access Website & Mobile Environment

CWS is pleased to announce the launch of Barrier Free Access’ new website!

What is Barrier Free Access?

Barrier Free Access is a located in Byron, MN. Since 1991, they have been providing accessibility products to persons with disabilities, so they can enjoy an independent lifestyle. In recent years, they have expanded their reach by providing high quality patient handling products to facilities across Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota. Award winning Barrier Free Access has not only proven itself as an industry leader, but as a helping hand to both medical facilities and independent persons.

What was Barrier Free Access looking for…

Barrier Free Access wanted a website that could provide expert information about their products and inventory. They wanted customers to easily discover the perfect product for their situation.

Also a priority was; ease of navigation, simple newsletter sign up area, mobile accessibility, a login area to view more in depth product specification sheets, and a back end content management system to allow Barrier Free Access to easily and frequently update their site.

What CWS did for them…

Jonny Yucuis was the Project Leader for Barrier Free Access’ website with Heather Holmes as the Account Strategist. With help from Web Developers, Joe Milbach and Dustin Hart, they created a website that exceeded Barrier Free Access’ expectations. Making navigation as simple as possible, they were able to create individual pages for each of their products. This not only helped customers find the product and brand they were looking for, but also made Barrier Free Access’ website visible on search engines such as Google.

The CWS team developed the website using responsive web design, to provide a mobile environment for customers looking to contact Barrier Free Access via mobile devices. The mobile website highlighted a list of testimonials and had quick links to Barrier Free Access’ products.

To make it easy for Barrier Free Access to edit and update their website, the CWS team added their latest intuitive system, eCMS, to Barrier Free Access’ website. eCMS is a Content Management System that makes it easy for the client to update their website in seconds. Barrier Free Access can now add pages, update content, and upload or change images!
