Home Federal: Getting Social with Their Clients

Earlier this year Home Federal Savings Bank decided to embark into the world of social media. After extensive market research they learned that they scored extremely high in the area of “positive relationships” with their clients. To continue to enhance that relationship, getting more social with their clients was the obvious move, and they recently launched a Facebook Page.

 

Giving Away MONEY!

To add an element of fun, Home Federal worked with CWS to create a contest to celebrate 80 years in business and the bank’s debut in the social media world.

Home Federal’s 80th Anniversary “Just Call Home” Giveaway.

As a bank, the obvious prize is one everyone likes; CASH!

Playing on the theme of 80 years in business, the prizes are 80-$10 cash prizes and 1 grand prize of $800.

Entry is simple, as contests should be. Entrants fill out this form and they are automatically entered to win. Contestants can enter 1X per day.

 

Goals

  • Make a big splash on their social media debut
  • Quickly gain likes (almost 600 in about a month)
  • Celebrate 80 years in business
  • Get more social and continue to build on an already strong relationship with their clients

 

Behind the Scenes

CWS, Inc’s, Sheryl Barlow and Ethan Herber worked with Home Federal to conceptualize the contest and campaign. Sarah Link, Graphic Designer, developed the graphics and Dustin Hart, Web Developer and Eric Reynolds, Programmer, coded the page and built the database capture.

The contest ends May 12th so there is still time to enter. Odds on these local contests are always higher than national contest so it pays to give it a try.
