RPU's Annual Report "Goes Green"

CWS is proud to announce the release of a new and unique presentation tool for Rochester Public Utilities (RPU).

RPU, a division of the City of Rochester, MN, is the largest municipal utility in the state of Minnesota. RPU services the majority of the Rochester, MN city limits and has revenues nearing $100 million annually. RPU’s goal was to “go green” with their annual report by utilizing the significant advances in technology to create a professional on-line report that all their customers could easily view with the click of a button.

CWS designer/developer, Joe Milbach, led the project. Joe understood that the annual report needed look similar to the traditional printed annual report. With this in mind, Joe chose to incorporate an informational video at the beginning of the report that features RPU General Manager, Larry Koshire. Then, Joe utilizes a page flip effect in the visual design of the report to create a more interactive feel for the viewer. The report is now available to view on line.
