Congratulations to Zumbro Valley Mental Health Center on their redesigned website!
What is Zumbro Valley Mental Health Center?
Zumbro Valley Mental Health Center is a community health center dedicated to improving the mental health of southeastern Minnesota residents regardless of their ability to pay. For nearly 50 years, Zumbro Valley Mental Health Center has enhanced the quality of life for individuals through its mental health, primary care, community support, and chemical health programs.
The Goal:
In addition to making their new website easy to navigate for its audience, Zumbro Valley Mental Health (ZVMH) wanted to incorporate a new logo and change the colors for a current and modern look. Addictive and mental disorders are common and ZVMH wanted a clear callout on how common they are on its website. Making the website more accessible to their patients and easy to update was another important goal for ZVMH.
Our Solution:
The CWS team working on this project included Project Manager Jonny Yucuis, Web Designer Sarah Link, and Web Developer Dustin Hart.
“They did a full rebrand with this website,” said Web Designer Sarah Link. “The idea behind the design was to create a clean and crisp layout. I pulled the colors and some of the design from the logo that was provided.” She blended the logo into the design to create a complete look.
On its home page’s image slider, stats regarding how common mental disorders, addiction and illicit drug use are on ZVMH’s new website.
An easy to find and easy to complete contact form for scheduling appointments, contributing, volunteering, and getting in touch is on the website. ZVMH’s phone number is prominently featured in the upper right hand corner of multiple pages of the website.
ZVMH can make updates to its website through CWS’s Content Management System, the eCMS. In addition to providing the system, CWS trained key staff at ZVMH on how to use the system.
