Take a break, go vote
It's your obligation as an American to vote today. If you haven't registered, don't worry, you can do that when you get there. All you need is your driver's license or a recent utility bill with your name and address on it. Don't know where to go? No problem, you can find that out right here (MN residents). Don't know who to vote for? No problem! After you enter in your mailing address and find your polling place it will give you a list of candidates (and a link to their website). If you're not in Minnesota, check out VoteSmart for a link to your state.
There, no more excuses. Stop reading blogs, stand up, tell your boss that you're taking a break, and go vote. The best part is that you'll even get one of those neat little "I Voted" stickers. If you have one and a co-worker doesn't... call them funny names.

Thanks for the kick in the butt. We just moved a couple months ago, and my DMV paperwork must be caught in traffic, because I never received a confirmation of my change of voter registration, not the packet of candidate information. (Hubby received his.) I figured I wasn't eligible to vote today, but I suppose I'll go to the poll location for my new address and see what they can do for me.
All good advice, Alan. Just get to the polls and start filling in ovals.
Then get back to the computer and starting reading blogs again.
