New sites

CWS has launched a couple of new websites in the past week or so, with a few features worth noting:

Presto! Cuisine
This site has a clean, modern aesthetic, and it's all centered around a scheduling application. An understated interface makes it dead simple for the user to accomplish the task at hand and move on. This business model is all about saving the customer time and effort, and that philosophy should be just as much a driving force for the website as it is in the store.

Rochester Honkers
CWS developed a whole new set of logos and branding for the Honkers, of which the website was just one part. This was a fun visual project, but there's exciting stuff is under the hood, too. A lot of statistical data gets pulled into this site and updated automatically. The calendar has some cool dynamic properties, but it (and the dropdown menus at the top) are written with clean, semantic XHTML. There's also a page for mobile devices at http://www.rochesterhonkers.com/mobile/. And everything is a snap to update using a combination of Macromedia Contribute and some custom administration tools.
