Trumped

I'm in Las Vegas this week at a real estate convention for Keller Williams Realty. You might wonder why an "internet guy" is at a real estate convention, I wondered myself for awhile. The short answer is that my wife is a realtor and I'm a supportive husband. However, it didn't take me long to realize that much of the content is universal knowledge that can be applied to any business.

One of my breakout sessions was with Kendra Todd, the winner of the 3rd season of the Apprentice. I found it very interesting that she no longer works for Trump. She owns her own Real Estate company and is doing quite well. Being a 27 year old, I have to admire her for "trumping" the Donald. Anyone who can work for Donald Trump for a year, and then decide that you are better off "on your own", has my respect. It's too bad she has used all Flash to create the website, we could have given her some pointers on creating a search engine friendly website. :)
