Beer Rules

SuperBowl XL has come and gone, and if you were like me you enjoyed the commercials more than the game. In past years, most commercials were copied and then distributed via emails as part of our daily joke distribution. However, now we find that companies are "releasing" commercials via their website even before the superbowl. They have become such a commodity that companies will even release the commericals that "did not make it" to the SuperBowl for added exposure. How convenient for us (and them).

Budweiser came through (again) with the most humorous commercials. Without beer to entertain us, I'm afraid most of the evening would have been a let down. For example, the Burger King Whopperettes commercial left me thinking, "Someone should be fired, and quickly".

For your review, Google convenienently provides downloads of all the commercials for your viewing pleasure. A link is provided on their homepage for maximum convenience. And if that isn't enough, podcast versions are now available for your iPod.

Ahh yes... Beer... Just one more short year and it will be good for more than just mild television entertainment.

Next thing you know, they'll charge us for the privilege of downloading their commercials.
